I like how the cards break complex deception concepts into simple pieces. You can learn one idea at a time like leakage or reticence and see how it might show up in real conversations. The bibliography cards also add credibility since they cite real research, which makes the deck feel more serious than typical pop-psychology tools.
I absolutely love the deception deck! They are beautifully made, and I’m excited to use them as a tool in my daily life to spot lies, manipulation and deception. I’ve already started using them with other cases I study and research and other testimony I find to be suspicious. Instead of just saying “oh that’s not real or oh that’s a conspiracy theory or a hoax” I can actually prove it even just for myself. I feel I’ve received closure on a lot of these cases that haunt many people to this day. Using them is like adding another layer to reality. Truth is my ultimate goal and this is a fantastic tool to use to help me uncover that. I highly recommend!
Enjoyed the easy access to the different categories of signs of deception, I which maybe each card could have a QR code that shows you a video so you can understand what the card means more fully. But I guess that is what the app is for which I’m excited to take a look at next. I also like that the first two cards have the bibliography bc I am the type to go read them hahhah

It's pretty impressive how it's written and explained. I am actually a new subscriber of the decepticon detective channel but I am still proud of buying the deck. I like the design and the references of crimes. I had my expectations with the deception deck on the quality of the cards and how helpful it would be. But having this deck in my hands exceeds them. Skimming through the suites and how easier it is for me to now remember what to look for is amazing. I use to carry my statement analysis books by Mark McClish around for refreshers when I hear a phrase or irregular grammar placements. Having this is much easier to revisit these now. If you haven’t bought this deck you must.

I have an interrogation analysis channel on YT. I have studied various approaches over the time I've been doing this. I recently started watching this channel. When I first heard of tje deception deck, I thought it would be a great tool for me to learn more but more importantly for me, I wanted to have it for my teen daughter. She has autism and tends to take what people say at face value. Having g something concrete that she can refer to I believe will be a great tool for her to practice deciphering bs to put it bluntly. She's watched the channel with me from time to time so is already learning. I think this is a great tool to have for anyone.

Deception Deck: A flawless five-star enigma.
I am a little confused as to which category the hearts fall under. I am trying to look now. But I am obsessed and this is well worth the money, and I have never paid anything even remotely close to $80 for a deck of cards. Even when I was into tarot cards. But these are actually something that can be used in every day life and could be the difference between a life or death situation and just generally, knowing whether or not you are being deceived, which is a valuable skill that should be taught to every child growing up. Unfortunately, a lot of these children grow up being abused by the people that should be protecting them and teaching them how to stand up for themselves and recognize deception when faced with it. My question is what about those who have only ever known deceit and abuse, how did they recognize that this is happening to them if they do not suspect it or even worse, they have never known anything different? Anyways, rant over. I love these cards and will always support small businesses. Thanks for my order even though I had to get it from my neighbors lol

This is a genius idea. I always wanted an easy way to remember the principles of statement analysis. Having them in a card deck makes a nice quick reference and is a fun way to do it! I love that I can just pick a card or shuffle through them. They are well formatted. I like the examples and quotes given along with the explanations. The bibliography is nice to see and I recognized some of the resources used. Great job on this. Bravo!
I played with the cards for several hours and read them and went through numerous rabbit holes because of the cards. Bought these on pre-order, my only regret is not being able to purchase these years ago. The info is so useful that sometimes i feel naughty learning about how humans misbehave. Then again, Non-fiction psychology books about terrible behaviors in history seem to be what ive always gravitated to. Anywho, buying a deck for actual playing cards and one for studying and keeping in good condition might not be a bad idea. Awesome DDD, highly recommend it.

I knew these cards would be excellent, but they’re even better than I anticipated. The quality of the cards is impressive, and I’m even more impressed with the *dedication* that went into creating what I consider to be a comprehensive Statement Analysis Course in a “deck of cards”! The VALUE of these cards is immeasurable. Costing far less than a class would cost. But even more importantly is the value of having what is probably YEARS of Deception Detective’s TRAINING and expertise right here in my pocket!! I can’t even put into words, how valuable that is to me. There’s literally nothing else like this deck & content anywhere out there. I am so glad I ordered them. If I wasn’t on a fixed income, I would buy one for every member of my family. They’re THAT good. I don’t know where Deception Detective got his training or how long he trained, but his content speaks for itself. It’s clear he’s an expert in his field and I’m so grateful for his desire to share his training and knowledge with us. Sorry for the novel, lol. The Deception Deck is a beautiful set of high quality cards jam-packed with more information than you could need if you are interested in this topic. The packaging is also great with a card box and a plastic box so these cards won’t be getting lost! WOW! Thats how I felt when I opened and looked at the Deck. I feel that those of us who have experienced abusive and toxic relationships would benefit greatly from having this deck and studing it. I will be buying another deck soon to have on hand. I would love to see this deck in a larger version if ever you choose to do so being 72 and do better with larger print. Over all its Perfect!
